Two Million Dollar mobile homes? Yes, only in Malibu. Even during a depressed real estate market, someone was willing to pay over $2m for one of the finest mobile homes ever offered within the Malibu real estate market. The deluxe park “coach” sits on the same stretch of bluff where nearby homes range from $10-$30m. The price may seem high but when you factor in that you are above the water and can walk down to a private beach, it may be the most affordable way to live large in Malibu.

Real estate activity on Point Dume has been heating up with several homes receiving offers and some heading in to escrow. There are three homes under $2.5m that have been very busy on the weekends with showings lined up back to back by the listing agents. The best real estate deal on Point Dume is the little ranch house on the corner of Fernhill and Wildlife. The house is “Leave It To Beaver” original ranch style and appears in very good condition. A new lease listing has hit the Malibu Real Estate market for a whopping $200,000 per month! You can only rent it for the month of July and you won’t even be able to set foot in the door until you are very pre-qualified. The deposit will be another $200,000 so be prepared to shell out almost a half a million dollars to get the lease started. The good news is that if you do rent it for a month you’ll be on Carbon beach, right smack dab in the middle of some big high rollers with mega pads. If you need the ultimate beach house, you’ve found it.
