Polaroid Beach House Up For Sale at $32,000,000
The beach house that once leased it’s soul to a company trying to figure out how to be cool as the digital age wiped out it’s film business, is now up for sale. Several years ago the house had been host to numerous parties that irked the neighbors, attracted flocks of paps, and even had the local city council trying to find ways to shut down corporate party homes in Malibu. The Polaroid Co. would later lease a few other beach houses in Malibu to host their parties and this house has since had a new owner who did not lease it out for publicity friendly soirees. The home came on the market this week at $32,000,000. What you get is 80 feet of prime Malibu frontage with approved plans to build a 6000 sq.ft. house on a double wide lot on a good section of Carbon Beach, a.k.a. Billionaires Beach. With one other Carbon Beach home at $65,000,000, this could be a great opportunity to build your own compound. There are now 9 homes publicly listed for sale in Malibu above $20,000,000 with a dozen or more being shown as pockets. If you need a property in the these prices ranges call me for details regarding unlisted “pockets” in Malibu.
The home is listed with Brett Esformes of Pritchett-Rapf

I’ll take 2 (warning, there may be a slight hint in fatalistic sarcasm hidden there)
The photo that you have is not the Polaroid Beach House
You might be right. There are several other pics of another house online saying the Polaroid beach house. Did they rent two different ones? Regardless, it is a party house for sure! Any idea what Corps. did lease it?

That does not look like a Polaroid beach house
