What’s Going On in Malibu
Fall is here; arguably the best time of the year to be in Malibu. The crowds are gone and the beaches are empty. The days have been clear enough to Santa Barbara Island 60 miles out and even downtown LA. The nights are crisp enough for us to fire up our wood burning stove and the days are warm enough to hang out at the beach.
Some fun things we’ve been doing…..
Harvesting a late crop of Tomatoes out of the garden and making gallons of pasta sauce for the winter.
Going over to Claudia’s place to fill up my truck with BioDiesel from her co-op.
Trading vegetables from the garden for fresh eggs with the neighbor across the street.
Diving for Lobsters, Urchin, and White Sea Bass in the local waters.
Watched an interesting documentary called Food INC.
Filming our son with the latest generation of DSLR’s that can shoot high def video. See my first movie attempt here.
Real Estate wise….
The are several great deals out there on beach houses and estates. I’l post the top five deals in Malibu later today.
